Monistat 7 is a 7 day treatment which contains a 2% vaginal anti fungal cream
and Miconazole Nitrate 100mg per applicator. The manufacturers claim that this treatment will cure
most yeast infections and eliminate the itching and burning symptoms after the 7 days are over. It
is strongly recommended you speak to a professional health care provider before undergoing a
program of Monistat 7 as a large number of people have reported side effects including a worsening
of symptoms, sickness and nausea.
With the Monistat 7 day treatment you will be required to insert one 20mg dose into your vagina before
bed and continue this for 7 days. It is not the most comfortable treatment available and you will need
to be aware of any new symptoms arising, if you do notice new symptoms speak to a health care
provider.
